Introduction
NH8201 (high acid value) and NH8608 (low acid value) are polyester resins used in polyester / TGIC powder coating system and polyester / HAA powder coating system. NH8201 and NH8608 are respectively made into powder and then dry mixed to produce outdoor semi-gloss powder coating.
With the continuous enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection and the many advantages of powder coatings, the application of powder coatings has become more and more extensive, such as widely used in architectural aluminum profiles, home appliances, various auto parts, furniture, various hardware, sports Equipment, anti-corrosion pipes, anti-theft doors, MDF medium density fiberboard, electrical insulation materials, high-speed rail, and high-speed guardrails, etc. In the above application fields, the share of matt powder is close to half. To produce matt powder, you can choose the method of adding a matting agent to the powder coating formula. This scheme has a wide range of matting glosses and can achieve a very low gloss, but the shortcomings are also evident. Although the coating gloss changes with the baking temperature And change, mechanical properties decline, storage stability decline, easy to yellow, and so on.
Resin is an indispensable ingredient in coatings, so we can achieve low gloss by mixing resins with different reactivity to make the coating film shrink unevenly and produce micro-roughness. This method can avoid the use of matting agents and reduce the cost of coatings.
